We are fully integrated with the contactless payment methods but more importantly we accelerate the checkout flow by making an “Express” checkout option at the very top of the shopping cart. This means that we allow Apple Pay or Google Pay to handle the input of all the data including email, physical address, and name of the guest therefore reducing the input of any field into a form. By doing this we have found an optimal conversion metric and accelerated the time to completion of checkout. These payment methods can be enabled or disabled per client. We detect the type of device and present the option accordingly. For example on Safari browsers we present Apple Pay, on Chrome browsers we present Google Pay. The integration with these providers is put through the payment gateway of your choice – Chase or Stripe, both allow the seamless integration with these wallet types. We have found that customers gravitate to the usage of these and they have a minimal impact on credit card fees.
